What can I write about?

You can write about anything in almost any category we have. Review movies, shows, (whether you recorded them or they’re available on demand via Netflix), review equipment, write about your Tivo problems, hacks, accessories, etc. There are a few categories that are restricted, however, like the Top 5.

Do I need to have experience?

Professional writing experience always helps, but we evaluate each writer individually. Some experienced writers we will consider compensating, but not everyone fits in this category. The most important experience is a love of Tivo!

How many times do I have to post?

If we’re not paying you, we won’t give you a minimum number of posts per week. However, if your blog is dormant for over 30 days, we reserve the right to delete your account.

Do I own the rights to my writing?

You own the rights to your writing, and you grant us exclusive first publishing rights of that work.

Can I run ads on my blog pages?

We are currently implementing an ad system, and it will be up and running soon. At that time we’ll offer bloggers some kind of revenue sharing system. As long as you are posting consistently and are a good member of our site, you can use appropriate affiliate links in your posts. These must not be overdone, and we can remove links at our discretion.

Where will my blogs be listed at?

Some writers may be featured on the front page, others will be listed in a section on the front page.
