Top 5 – Netflix Streaming Week of Sep.6,2009

by Wade Arnold on September 5, 2009

Here’s our picks for what’s on Netflix Instant Watching this week:

  1. Movie: The Waterboy – Okay, so Adam Sandler is, well, Adam Sandler in every movie he’s been in, but this 1998 movie is still funny. Worth a watch.
  2. Movie: Hombre – Paul Newman stars in this classic western that focuses on racial injustice.
  3. Movie: Ronin – Robert DeNiro stars in this 1998 action thriller, which also features Stellan Skarsgard. This is not necessarily a classic DeNiro picture, but still a fun ride.
  4. TV: Heroes, Season 1 – If you’ve missed Heroes on NBC, you can start off right by catching the first season on Netflix. This is one that gets better as you go, so the good gets better as the season progresses.
  5. TV: Lost, Season 1-4 – Sit down and prepare to be perplexed. This show started off with a bang on TV, and kind of died off ratings wise by season 4. You’ll get into it though, and you’ll simply have to watch to find out what happens.
